We have experienced and highly trained staff, who offer person-centred approaches to care and support to individuals who have a learning disability.
As such staff must have sufficient and appropriate training and skills to effectively engage people with learning disabilities in health promotion, to achieve optimal wellbeing.
Over the past 35 years, I have worked, in Local Authority Day Services in a senior role, Supported Living and Respite Services for people with a learning disability. I have also worked throughout County Durham, as a Person-Centred Planning Facilitator for three years.
As a Director of Ethicare my role includes being the Registered Manager for our Supported Living Services and a responsibility for finances.
I have over 25 years’ experience of working with people who have learning disabilities. In my role of Director my main duties include Recruitment, Training and Quality Assurance.
I joined Ethicare (Durham) Ltd in August 2015 and prior to this I worked for Durham County Council Commissioning Services where I managed contracts and carried out inspections of Residential and Supported Living Services.
